Crocs, the colourful, comfy, and unique sandal have been such a talk lately in J town. It's not because it's a new arrival here or what. It has been here since, may be 9 months ago?, I remember seeing it first time it was displayed in EX.

For some of you, crocs may look like a gardener's shoes =), but many children are wearing it, since it gives you comfy, especially because it has a round toe.

However, many accidents occured in the elevator has been reported, and Crocs is blamed for that. This is because Crocs has made from a material that is call 'crocslite' and is anti-slip. So, any of you with children wearing crocs, beware especially when they are in the elevator.

Yes, we all do sometimes. Wondering, if you have a working desk like this, will you still feel the same? Well, this site really has an inspiring working desk and its attribute (agendas, calendars, binders, filing, storage, etc).

Desk of this month is one of my favorites:

Keliatannya memang simple, tapi cozy banget yah. I also like small plants on top of the desk, or near window. Usually, those plants are good only if they got enough sun. I got a friend here, that has a very good desk and window decorating. Too bad, I couldn't get the picture.

Shopping in Hongkong

Hongkong is really really a shopper's paradise. I went there again and just came back last week =). Here are some shopping areas recommended to go:

1. Central

Central area is occupied with many tall buildings, many high rise office buildings. And Central is also the place you can look for up-scale and luxurious brand i.e: Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Celine, Fendi, Prada, Dior, Armani, etc. Try to look for Landmark, Prince's Building, Chater house. At Central, you can find many stylish people ;), not like in other area, they are chic, professional chic,and many expats. The most recently 'talk in town' is H&M (I think Hongkong is the first H&M store in Asia), opened in March, this time I didn't need to q in to get inside like last time. You can find it in Queens Road. IFC (International Finance Centre) is a newly open shopping mall. Lane Crawford luxurious department store is there,and also burberry, agnes b, bally, hugo boss,calvin klein, kate spade, etc etc.

2. Admiralty

Admiralty is just 1 MTR station away from Central. The area is pretty much the same with central. You can find pacific place, a big and luxurious shopping centre here. Louis Vuitton,Celine, Chanel, Bottega Veneta, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Mango, Zara, Esprit, Seibu dept store etc are there.

3. Tsim Sha Tsui

Tsim Sha Tsui is a place for tourists. Biasanya tourist2 kalau ke Hongkong tinggal di daerah ini. Di daerah ini banyak toko2 tersebar di sepanjang Nathan Road (jalan yang sangat panjang dan paling ramai di Tsim Sha Tsui). Usually shops there are quite 'ordinary', I mean you can find brand like giordano, bossini, hang ten, there. But if you go furhter up to Peking road, you can find a more upscale boutique, i.e: Dior, Celine, Escada, etc.

Harbour city is a place to go, better you go there at night. Because from there, you can see Hongkong's tall buildings which decorated beautifully with light and laser (Tsim Sha Tsui is in Kowloon island). Facess is a giant store that sells only branded cosmetics, ada MAC, NARS, etc etc. Also many kids store like Oshkosh B'Gosh, chickeeduck, kingkow, toys"r"us.

4. Causeway bay
Causeway bay is well known for local shoppers. This area is very crowded, you can find many 'small' and ordinary stores in the surrounding areas, and also a big dept stores like Sogo. IKEA, Causeway Place, and also Times Square and Lane Crawford.

4. Others

Esprit outlet is quite a new thing in Hongkong. It is located in Prince Edward area. Items there are mostly t-shirt. Quite cheap, women t-shirt starts from HKD 59 (about Rp 65k). Nearby in Mongkok, there is a famous bargain 'pasar malam' (know as ladies nite market , or 'ni ren jie' in Chinese dialect), you can find many cheap China products there. And many fakes item too. Watch out your wallet when you are there!

One shop I cant miss is Aji-Ichiban. It sells so many candies, and sweet I can bring home for oleh2. If not mistaken, ada juga di Mal Taman Anggrek, tp udah tutup perasaan?

hi! thanx for dropping by in my blog ya. salam kenal juga =). Basically, based on what I read, perawatan muka itu yang basic terdiri dari cleanser, toner, moisturiser, and last sunscreen. Once a week, bisa ditambahkan scrub dan mask. Pengembangannya sekarang ada yang dengan whitening, atau pore minimiser.

Karena product SKII harganya ga murah for me, maka aku waktu itu beli yang basic2 aja. Kebetulan pas ada promo paketnya, jadi lumayan banget, includes body gel (kecil), facial mask, dan toner kecil. Iya, product SKII itu banyakkk banget ya pengembangannya...

Persisnya, aku pake ini:

Product reviews:
Facial treatment cleanser: basically mirip kayak model biore gitu. As I have a normal to dry skin, aku sih looking for a more gentle product. Currently, I am using clarins one step cleanser.

Facial treatment clear lotion: for me, it is just an ordinary toner.

Facial treatment essence: nah, ini yang diclaim sebagai 'miracle water' yang mengandung 90% pitera. Aku sih cocok2 aja pake ini, malah jadi cerahh setelah pakai. Tapi ada teman ku yang ga cocok, timbul kayak cosmetic acne. Mungkin mereka pakenya kebanyakan, kalo aku sih dikit aja naronya di palm.

Advance sign treatment: moisturiser. ga creamy, ga sticky. Aku sih cocok ya.

Facial Mask: cairannya banyak, and leave your skin baby smooth after that. =)

Finishing powder: bedaknya so far cuma 1 warna ya. [in between moisturiser and powder, i also apply suncscreen and liquid foundation].

Sunbathing

Last weekend, which was a long weekend here, we went to Tanjung Lesung resort. The weather was great. And I enjoyed sunbathing so much. I tried to get a bit of tan to my fair-pale skin. But, on a second thought, is sunbathing safe? I mean UVA/UVB is always being the scape goat for skin cancer. According to this beauty guru, there is no safe tan. In short, she tells us that UVA is the primary cause of cancer and wrinkles (pre-mature aging).

SPF is the parameter to calculate how long a sunscreenwill last. Just multiple it by 10 to arrive at minutes. For example, 15 SPF = 15 x 10 = 150 minutes = 2.5 hours. So this 15SPF can last for 2.5 hours. Most importantly, if you wear layers of cosmetics that have SPF (i.e: 15 SPF foundation, 8 SPF of compact powder), the amount is not added up. It should be calculated based on the highest SPF on a single product. A higher number of SPF does not provide a higher UV protection, it only prolongs your stay in the sun without burning. Dont forget to apply it 15-20 min before, and apply it liberally.

These are sunscreen products I have. The right one is for the kid, as baby's and small children's skin is even more sensitive to sun's damage.

Why did I choose to buy those products? Because they contain at least one of these ingredients: Avobenzone, Oxybenzone, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxcide.

If you want to get a tan, a safe tan, the only way is just applying self tanning products. But for me, this wouldn't work, as my skin get yellow-ish instead after applying that =)

I usually purchased my LV bag in LV boutique. I got my papillon in LV Plasa Senayan. For your second question, my suggestion is you go to its boutique for the branded bag original from Italy you referring to. Karena takut banyak palsunya, dan mirip2 gitu.

In addition, if you want to buy LV bag, you can get at a cheaper price in Hongkong LV boutique, or Paris (hehe..titip biar murah, bisa lebih murah by 30%, based on my investigation).

Kalau di Jakarta, LV bag original bisa didapat di boutique: bule & lucy (di panglima polim), atau di Socialite boutique (di Hang Tuah). Don't forget to post your new bag in your blog ya! :)

Nail polish removal

In the past I usually just grab any local nail polish removal in local supermarket, until last week, I just I give it a go for this stuff. First I thought that any removal will give the same effect as its base is just aseton. My nails will usually become yellowish after wiping it out and become blur. But when applying this product, I become amazed (too exagerating? ;) ), since my nail is not become yellowish, and less blur compared with the 'local unbrand' one.

Gosh! I believe my shopping appetite has been such uncontrollable lately. I haven't posted something I guess is pretty important in my life=)...ho! I bought a mulbery bag during my shopping trip in Hongkong. And nothing can be more true than what Fashionese said about a new bag!

The smell of the leather, uh...the touch of the leather (it has no inside lining, so you can feel it), and it is also roomy....and I like the colour very much...yes, I prefer light color.

Welcoming my new mulberry in my wardrobe (I used it for 1 week and now it back to wardrobe again, hybernating first, and will use it again some time =) ):

New kipling bag

I got this Kipling bag from fashion bazaar I went to yesterday. It is very lightweight, and this bag is very suitable for travelling, or any other 'casual' trip. Due to the material is 'waterproof' I have no worry in carrying them during travelling, and it's also 'sratch-free'. I was so worry carrying my Mulberry last time in Hongkong, since it was a brand new baby, and I was being like a 'too protective' mom...(see? now you know I even more protective to my Itayashi). Oh ya, the price is 50% less. =)

During lunch time, I went there. Tips: after getting out from lift, turn right (in left wing, there is also kiosks, but stuffs are just ordinary). Barang2nya sepertinya sisa sale yang kemarin. Ninewestnya sih ga terlalu bagus, begitu juga sole effect ya. Tapi emang bener murah, tinggal sekitar Rp 300 ribu (dari Rp 900 ribu). Yang mending sih menurut saya cuma tas kiplingnya, disc.50% dari harga. Malah buat dompet kunci 'tinggal' Rp 35 ribu. Baju2 next dewasa dan anak2 juga ga terlalu bagus. MD tinggal kaos2 dan sweater, kaos2nya polos berleher u, bagus sih, tp masih sekitar Rp 14o ribu.

I went to Hongkong for 5 days during last long weekend (15-19 March 07)..=) sorry for late posting. First, thanks to fashionese daily for info, i bet she knows everything about fashion in every kind, everywhere in the world :), just name it, she will give you the answer ..

Yang lagi heboh di sana tuh adalah H&M, kind of boutique like, i might say, zara or mango, but this one is from Sweden. The first opening day in Hongkong was in 10 March, my cousin told me that many people were q-ing there since the first 20 people will get shirt (?) with Madonna's signature.

When I was there on Sunday morning, phew, thought this promo has been ended, yet still so many people q-ing, like 50 metres, since the shop was not opened yet (I was there by 10.30 am, but it opens on 11.00 am).

I didn't bring my own camera, stupid me, since i thought i wouldn't go sightseeing on that day.

It has 3 storey, of which first and second floor is for women, second floor is for children, and third floor is for men. Children clothing is not so costly, and the model is good. My husband bought a hat there (like detective hat..haha), and I got a tunic dress (with flower stictching) in off-white, a green knit tunic and bangles.

Small bag is just not enough to keep my daily things.. When I bought this bag about a year or so ago, it seems that it is not small, it is quite roomy, but..as time goes by, I feel that even my purse is so hard to get into that...

I just use this bag for weekend ..Yeah, I split my weekend bag and my weekday bag (not to mention my 'supermarket' bag, or my 'church' bag, :) )..my weekend bag terms refer to bag that is in good quality (should I say superb?), pretty chic, and only deserve the ride to somewhere nice.. :)..Yeah, I do have a good maintanence of my bag, so I consider anyone who bought my bag is just lucky.

I clean it everytime I use, put it bag in its dust bag, store it in my bag wardrobe, and keep an eye whether the 'humidifier' is empty in the wardrobe (beware of 'jamur' - fungi in our humid country).

Even when I went to the LV boutique here to validate my Papilon is original to a buyer to be, the SA commented that this is still in a very good condition :)...Of course, the gold metal looks polished, no scratch on every single surface outside and inside. the SA was only willing to compare it with new Papilon they have without commenting this is original or not..(may be it is not part of their job, or they are just afraid to release such comment).

In short, I sell it, 50% lower than original price! huhu..but I consider this is better than put it in a second store, I will get even lower, and without any certainty when it will be sold..

And then, I can get something bigger in return ...of course with some more fund 'invested'...

This is the sandal I talked about on my last post..

This gives you height without pain it usually comes together with..I fell in love the first time I saw it..I know it does not look like something sexy, with pointed hills, or strap ..but this gives you comfort plus it does not look like 'home sandal' with just a plain big strap on top...

And also, the colour is just suit me...for me, something in solid colour like black, darkbrown is just too contrast with my fair skin, and I usually have those dark colours just for the sake of matching it with my working suit.

There are many sweet havanians that have 'gems' or 'flower' or 'beads' on top of it, but for me, it's just to flatty (sendal jepit banget)..

On top of the wedges, there are white 'pallete' that also not so common found in sandal..bottom line, I just lovee it..

It is from Nine West, but I can't find it in the web catalog..may be it's just been out of order in the US, but surely a new arrival here..heck, who cares, as long as i like it! :)

The down thing is usually it gives discount soon...hik, but I am just too freak out I will not getting because usually nine west boutique collaborates with BII credit card which I dont have..

By d way, I also receive a Rp 100 k voucher without expiration date to shop at other boutique owned by PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk namely,SOGO, Debenhams, Zara, Topshop, Massimo Dutti, Next, Miss Selfridget, etc, etc,,,uhuyyy...

Recently, there are increasingly fashion designers have partnered with cellphone markers, namely D&G and Motorola Razr:

In fashion, take a look to Miuccia Prada for revolutionary design concepts and stunning execution. Usually, the fashion designer collaborate with the 'phone expert'. Prada this time (for the first time actually) collaborated with LG from the very beginning to create the KE850. The result, as being regarded as the world's first completely touch screen-operated phone, is quite kinda 'amazing'

Aesthetics and Economics comments :

Prada phone more or less holds up to tech spec scrutiny. I'll comment on the form-related features that differentiate Miuccia's mobile from the competition (at least in the eyes of design conscious consumers):
- An elegant look. This phone is definitely NOT destined for the Razr status. You won't tire of this phone quickly as you would the Razr or those old Nokia fashion phones.
- The sleek white-on-black interface. Because let's be frank--it is chic looking. More pictures are availabile on Gizmodo.

Ha! My bag is finally sold!..I should post this earlier, as it has been sold in exact 10 days after I put it on Saturday (Sunday is closed) in a second hand branded bag store at Central J town.

Bit flashback, when I arrived there, there were couple of visitors and I was kind of 'ignore'. It's okay, since I could take a look on what they have in store. Mm..collection is just so-so for the bag, the models are pretty old, and the pricing strategy are they put a tag with price (not so common for second hand bag!) with 10% discount (actually they just mark it up and discount it bag to arrive at a 'desired' price!). Luckily, the mbak2 has priced my bag, coz when I ask for a bit up of a price, they ask the 'nyonya besar' , she even gave me Rp 500,000 cheaper! Damn!

After more than a week, they sms-ed me, asking for about Rp 750,000 lower than agreed price..haha, no way man! it's already cheap, and the model are still in. Late in the afternoon, I ask how was it. They said, it's sold! C'mon, why I was not informed? May be becoz I already didn't feel comfy since the first time I was there (the lower price given by nyonya besar), I got the bad feeling that they could hold my money until I ask for it. Luckily, the next day, the transfered it to me..

By d way, they took Rp 2 mio as a profit @#$@#$! I should think open second hand branded bag huh? Lucrative business..

By the way, my ex-bag ;) is not too bad huh? Beside Paris Hilton wears it in white, Lindsay Lohan also wear it, but in different colour and size..

As recently, big bag (or oversized bag) become more trendy, health experts warn that it can be a key serious problem.

Bags for women have become bigger and heavier as designers combine briefcases with handbags and straps have become longer but the extra leverage has many patients complaining of neck, shoulder and back problems.
"I see so many women with neck pains and headaches and what I usually do is look for their purse and pick it up," said Jane Sadler, a family practice physician on the medical staff at Baylor Medical Center in Garland, Texas.

"We take it over to the scale and weigh it and usually they're anywhere from 7 to 10 pounds (3.1-4.5 kgs)...We're really going to see women with more and more problems later on if we continue the big purse craze."
William Case, a physical therapist in private practice in Houston, Texas, said an aggravated neck or shoulder can lead to upper back problems, meaning pain may then be felt while working at a computer or playing sports.
He urged designers "to place a cute, educational caution tag on all bags to inform of potential neck and shoulder dangers."
Above all, he recommended correct posture while carrying bulky purses, keeping the head and shoulders aligned upright. Patients should also frequently change the size and weight of purses carried.

Charm bracelete

I think I have a keen on charm bracelete during my life. Kalau dirunut2, kayaknya dah banyak charm bracelet yang I have owned before. But it seems I have never had enough of it..

First, from my mom, she bought it from Disneyland USA. Silver. I still can remember there are goofy, dumbo, mickey, etc as a charm. I wore it during my first year or second year at primary school during a pesta perpisahan. Hehe, I dont know why, may be I am in a rush, or being so barbar, goofy's head and body was separated, alias putus. Gosh, kl dipikir2, how can a 6th year old girl can do that...must be very barbar. Udah dimana ya tuh barang, biasa I keep all my old belonging well (hey, I still keep and use my Hello Kitty scissors I have from my 5th grade)

Second, it is a jewelry made from gold, a charm bracelet, with crown, horseshoes, etc. Because the bracelet is so thick, I am afraid to wear it daily. This one is from my dad. Have it during my 6th grade

Third, is a mini of the second one. I wore it daily, but not anymore.

Now, as this eye is so busuk, I fall in love again.

Oh ya, almost forgot to mention, previously I had fallen in love with Felice charm bracelet, but cancel to buy it, when I saw it, I feel that the price is not worthied.

Become more brunette!

My coloured hair have been mixed with the original black colour, and because it grows longer, the original colour dominates my dark brown coloured hair.

So, on my birthday I went to Alfons to re-colour my hair. This time I choose something more 'seen', the colour is 2 points lighter than the previous one, so it becomes visible now (read: more brunette! )

To keep my coloured hair as good as the first time I walk out from salon is I use my-all-time favourite coloured shampoo; L'oreal Vitamino Color. I almost use the entire of it, and find that it gives coloured hair shinny, and most importantly it doesn't make your hair so stiff, like sapu ijuk, like other non-coloured treatment shampoo hair.

It claims that :

Addicted to shoes..

One day, I found this marc jacobs shoes, which made me fall in love immediately..

The model is so classy, and the heel is not a pointed one, which gives more comfort.

The only downside is the price, my friend. For a kacung kampret like me, such shoes cost me of Rp 3.6 mio is just too much. Though my gutt feeling said that it gonna be on sale, just be patient. Correct, now it is on sale. But with 20% discount, the price is still too high for me to afford it.

And I am soooo happy when I found this..

It's from BCBGirls...I have been a long fans of BCBGirls...but it's not so easy to find it here in J town.

I love the heels that is not so high, and its classic model..And most importantly is the price, of course. Understand that if we compared the Marc Jacobs with this, of course, MJ is still better..but with the price of more than half of MJ's...I am happy with my finding...

Mine is in black colour, in fact, I prefer brown, but they dont have it.

Furthermore, I dont understand why I indulge myself into shoes lately..may be I am inspired by other fashion blogger who is a shoe-lady. Though, I claimed myself as a baglady in old days...

Hm...I notice that I have been using my alma for less than my total fingers of my right hand during the first year I bought it...(I bought it on early 2006). Reasons are, first, it is pretty valuable collection for me..so, I am so 'sayang-sayang' in using it...sebenarnya it deserves a nice trip to the town loh..second, it is because my influential friend, miss S, say something that make my self confidence down...she said all the alma bag owners are those with grey coloured hair...semua yang bawa tas alma itu rambutnya putih..haha..it's okay..i appreciate an honest comment from a friend...so, i think that i still can keep that bag for another 20-30 years for me to use it later..haha...

So after that sentence terngiang2 always, bener aja, tiap saya pergi ke mall, en biasanya sih, emang ibu2 setengah baya (not to say those are nenek2) wear that bag.

But for me, still, that bag is versatile and elegant. Not to mention that it is enak loh buat dipake, cukup spacious. That bag, is, in fact, a classic collection of that brand. It is first made in 1938...yes, 1938, before Indonesia's independence...

Saking classicnya, alma itu dibuat dgn leather monogram canvas, monogram damier, multicolour, epi, etc etc...dan once i notice in its boutique that they put in a row all the collection, with something like 'celebrating alma'..hehe..

Let's start with the absolute must-haves - eyelash curler, mascara, and eyeliner. These three are the absolute must haves for the Asian eye, specially those who don’t have crease on their eyes ( It’s not a bad thing, I promise! ) , because the eyelash curler, paired with the mascara, opens up the eyes more. Eyelash perming is also a great alternative, for those who feel hassled by everyday eyelash curling. The eyeliner definitely makes the eyes look bigger.

For additional accessories, we have the eyebrow tweezer, and false eyelashes. Use the eyebrow tweezer to tweeze away bushy brows and maintain a fairly thin brow. I’m not saying that you must make it line-thin, but make it just-right-thin brows. Having well-groomed brows would help your eyes have more area for eye makeup, or just make your eye area bigger. False eyelashes on the other hand can make your eyes look a whole lot bigger.

Okay, for now, the tips!
1. For eyeliners, do not use ultra-dark colors such as black. They would make the look “harsh”. Go for soft colors such as dark brown, brown, or gray. My favourite is grey from Clinique. I have once used a black one from bodyshop..d'oh look like an Indian!

2. White eyeliners (pencil) applied on your inner rim of the eyes will make your eyes look more alive and bigger. White eyeliners are actually a little bit difficult to pull off, you can instead use iridiscent eyeliners on your inner rim.

3. Apply eyeliner on both upper lashline and lower lashline, and eyeshadow can also be appled on the lower lashline as well. Check out Song Hye Kyo ( a big Korean star, whose picture I used on the start of my entry ), whose eye makeup is really gorgeous. The eyeshadow was applied in such a way that the silvery white was applied below the lashline, on the inner corner-half of the eye, while the blue shadow was applied on the lashline on the other half - outer corner of the eye.

4. For eyelining small eyes, do not connect the lines drawn on the upper and lower lashlines, because they will make eyes look smaller. Stay away from the inner rims of the eyes, and substitute with iridiscent or just substitute with the light colored eyeshadow used in your eye makeup.5. Do not be afraid to experiment with colors - Asians look really cute with baby colors, and look sexy with deeper shades of plum, and bronze.

Apa sih sebenarnya definisi 'cantik'? cantik batin atau inner beauty katanya lebih penting dari cantik luar. ehm..mungkinkah itu hanya sekedar 'kompensasi' dari yang luarnya ga cantik? Beauty is on the eye of the beholder..tergantung siapa yang liat..mungkin bisa ditambah, tergantung liatnya dari mana...kalo dari monas mah terang aja..hehe..*garinkz*..

Legally Blonde, sebuah film yang diproduksi di tahun 2001, menceritakan bahwa ADA wanita cantik yang bisa get admitted and study at a prestigious uni in US. Sepertinya sudah menjadi pandangan umum, kalau wanita cantik itu identik dengan 'kebodohan'. Kalau tidak, kenapa judulnya 'legally blonde'?

Konon, walau para pria mengaku tidak menjadikan fisik seorang wanita sebagai tolok ukur pengambilan keputusan dalam menyukai wanita (read: menjadikannya sebagai pacar), toh fisik menjadi tolok ukur penting dalam awal2 perkenalan antara pria dan wanita. Kalau tidak, kenapa ada istilah 'dari mata turun ke hati'? kok ga 'dari hati naik ke mata' ya?

Kilas balik, sewaktu jaman kuliah dulu, dari jurusannya saja bisa teridentifikasi, mana yang anak akuntansi, mana yang anak manajemen. No offense, tp biasanya yang kuliah di akuntansi, generally speaking, karena relatively lebih susah, anak2nya lebih serius belajar, lebih ga model2 party girls compared with that of anak manajemen. So, di sini ada suatu korelasi positif kalau anak yang serius sekolahnya pasti ga keren deh.

OKAY, now...on the other side of the coin, i have once read a book, lupa deh apa judulnya, katanya sih, wanita yang bermake-up, akan mengalami peningkatan karier yang lebih cepat atau karirnya akan lebih bagus dibanding mereka yang tidak bermake up. IMO, mungkin maksudnya gini, yang penampilannya lebih representatif kali ya, dengan baju kantor yang enak dilihat dan sopaann tentunya, dan tatanan rambut dan make up yang serasi (ga berlebih dan menor, dan ga pucat).

Ada loh anomali, i found so far sih baru 2 yah, a gal who looks pretty, groom, and smart. Not ordinary smart, but outstanding! Bisa dpt beasiswa, dan become a top student in a good uni overseas. so, this proves that not all beautiful girls are dumb kan (walau, i have to admit that Nadine is so totally not a representative in the contest that looking for a 3 B!).

Agh, I jump to my own conclusion: Being groom (i say groom yah) is important. Very important. And I do belive that GOD creates everyone beautiful. It all depends on YOU. How you make yourself impressive. How you could translate your taste into a fashion. And of course, manner does play an important role in arriving at Distinguish score, in overall.

I found this book, though I am not, was not a model, not going to be a model, that this book is a good guidance book for a girl to be success. Dont get me wrong. This is not in terms of technical guidance yah..

I really agree with what Heidi Klum's opinion she shares, and I feel so motivated. I think I am going to buy this book:

Hair cut appointment

I have an appointment this afternoon at Alfons to cut my hair. First, I wanna have it cut much, so it's just about at my chin, but on a second thought, I will look like dora then.. xixixixi...so I think I will just have it trimmed. It has been more than 6 months without belaian mas salon (though I have my front hair trimmed about 3 months ago, but still, the shape is messy).

I think I will let my hair style look like Japanese...xixixi..

becoz I always fall in love to look at those pretty pictures in this Japanese magazine, my fave..

Nyerempet dikit, that magazine show so manyyy stylish pictures, with all pretty Japanese girls, trendy clothes...and fabolous bags, cute accessories...and I can just stare here and there, with ugh-ogh...weleehh...

It seems that I am unable to keep only one post to discuss something...

I remember back in 1997, i use eye countour balm and gel...balm for night, gel for morning..
I remember that a good friend of mine, Jenny, was not suitable using it, timbul bintik2 putih..
I remember I added moisturiser named Hydration plus..
I remember I changed my cleanser to 'gentle foaming cleanse' which totally not gentle for me..
I remember I changed several times to multi active nuit, multi active jour..
I remember using elysium as it is so sexy at that time..(now it is discontinued!)
I remember I changed my eye cream to eye serum..
I remember the good smell of moisture rich body lotion..

I am just a big fans of clarins..
I am just a cosmetic slave..
All of that is due to the one and only reason..
To keep, or at least, to prolong the youth of my skin..
For all girls out there, tell me, is there any other reason other than that? admit it!
To maintain the softnes, the baby soft skin of my face..

Hope my hard earn money and my time invested in regularly applying them is not useless...you judge...

Googling on the issue, I find this:

Banned substances found in Japanese skincare products
Banned substances have been found in SK-2 brand skincare products imported from Japan, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) said Thursday.
SK-2 is Japan's top cosmetic brand.
An official with AQSIQ told Xinhua that its Guangdong branch detected chromium and neodymium when it tested a batch of SK-2 skincare products manufactured by the Max Factor subsidiary of Procter & Gamble (Japan).
China's rules ban the two metallic substances from cosmetic products.
Chromium can cause allergic reactions such as skin rash if it comes into contact with the skin. Neodymium is irritating to the eyes and skin and can cause lung embolisms and be a threat to the liver if it accumulates in the human body.
Max Factor responded in a statement that chromium and neodymiumare not added to SK-2 skincare products in the production process.
According to the statement, all SK-2 products are carefully evaluated by the company before being released to the market and verified and registered by the health administration before being imported to China.
AQSIQ reported the issue to its Japanese counterpart and to the Japanese Embassy in China, saying that Japanese counterparts should beef up supervision of cosmetic products exported to China and ensure the products meet China's standards.
An SK-2 spokesman said the company was carrying out an internal investigation.
AQSIQ issued a circulation requiring local branches to strengthen the quality supervision of cosmetic products imported from Japan.
Quality problems have also been detected in food imported from Japan recently. AQSIQ said there had been nearly 30 cases since June.

Wow! I have heard this since about a month ago! Sindy told me that she was advised by Rancy that this P&G products were sued by a consumer in China. Accordingly, all of the producst have been withdrawn in China. Sindy also joked that because of one consumer, a whole country sales are stopped. I was kinda 'oh ya?' without giving any more concern. Then, I also received a mail from SK II representative, claiming that their products are safe and persuading me to keep using it. Here it is:

Beberapa kejadian yang timbul di gerai SK-II menyebabkan SK-II menghentikan sementara penjualan SK-II di China dengan alasan keamanan.
